Her Story”: A Celebration of Women’s Power and Achievement
Chahal School Siliguri proudly presents “Her Story” on International Women’s Day, a powerful celebration of women’s resilience and empowerment. Our esteemed chief guests, including Mrs. Rosemary Pradhan, Ms. Shraddha Chettri, Ms. Rupmani Chettri, Mrs. Anisha Lama, Dr. Sujata Guha, Dr.Biva Mishra , Mrs. Lekha Rai, and Mrs. Anu Rai, share their inspiring journeys of overcoming various challenges.
From facing societal pressures and stereotypes to battling mental health issues and navigating personal struggles, these women have demonstrated incredible strength and perseverance. Their stories remind us of the importance of supporting and empowering one another, especially during challenging times.
As we listen to their experiences, let us learn from their resilience and determination. Let us strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment where women can thrive and succeed. Together, let’s break barriers, challenge norms, and uplift each other towards a brighter and more equitable future.
Being a woman is both a gift and a challenge bestowed by the divine, but it ultimately depends on the perspective one chooses to embrace. We can decide and look at women’s accomplishments, talents, strengths across the board while at the same time noting their plight with the aim of finding solutions to them. I take this opportunity to thank Mrs Lazen Khando Yolmo, The Headmistress of CHAHAL Inclusive Preparatory for organizing such an amazing event inviting ladies from different walks of life to share their stories about strength and courage.
